A library was the number one choice of things needed in the Pace area at the County's Town Hall Meeting in the summer of 2001. No community should be without a top notch library system. Libraries are a portal to the world of knowledge for people of all ages. A branch library in the Pace Area will enhance our excellent school system!

• It is needed by students who have no place to work on assignments during the evening and on weekends.
• It is needed by business people who need access to business data and other services only available in libraries.
• It is needed by citizens with vision problems and other physical challenges who lack appropriate materials and access to them.
• It is needed by crafters and hobbyists who want to read 'how to' books without spending a fortune on purchasing.
• It is needed by anyone who needs an internet connection.
• It is needed to conduct classes in literacy.
• It is needed by senior citizens who want to do any of the above without having to drive across the bridge into Pensacola.
• It is needed by citizens who want a place to hold meetings for various groups.
• It is needed to help define the Pace Area!
